The title of this blog sounds like the title of a James Garner Cowboy movie! In essence our High Streets are crumbling and we need to do everything we can to support local shopping. Too many have been killed off by greedy Government taxation policies and the demands of Landlords and can you believe it- upward only rent reviews! A retailer and supporter of our brand is closing his doors after 27 years of trading because his landlord, at their rent review, asked for an increase of £15k over and above the £40k per annum they are paying at present??? How are these guys to survive without your support? Shop Local, please.
